2012 – A New Year – New Sale & Many New Brides!!

6 WEEKS – 2 1/2 YEARS… It never ceases to amaze me at what a wonderful business the wedding industry is.

On Friday Alison visited Satin and Lace looking for her perfect dress with only 6 WEEKS to go until her big day, and we fulfilled all of her requirements. Then on Saturday we met the lovely Grace who chose her wedding gown and isn’t getting married until 2014, but it was still “The One” for her. So I think the morale of the story is – it’s never too early to order your dress and we at Satin & Lace are only too happy to help. Having dresses in stock, from many designers, different budgets, sizes 8 – 24 we feel confident that we can help any brides with their desires. 

This year we have once again introduced a January Sale at Satin & Lace. Unlike our Sale Weekends before, this time we’ve decided to run the Sale for the whole of January. Some fantastic wedding dresses are in the sale and we’ve also added many accessories including Wedding Shoes from Rainbow Club, Tiaras, Veils and other wedding essentials. Due to our new designer Sophia Tolli’s arrival at Satin & Lace there are many sample dresses, hardly worn placed in our Sale. Many of these bargain dress have up to 50% off their retail price and are the bargain of the Year for any bride who is on a budget for their wedding. Satin & Lace take on new designer – Sophia Tolli

After visiting Harrogate earlier this month and viewing her fantastic collection, Satin and Lace have been appointed Sophia Tolli stockists for Bridal Gowns and also Bridesmaids Dresses.

After 10 years as Head Designer for Maggie Sottero, Sophie Apostolides created a new bridal collection, Sophia Tolli. With its unparalleled craftsmanship and exceptional fit the Sophia Tolli collection provides an array of gorgeous, show-stopping Bridal Gowns. Her new collection is schedule to arrive in January 2012, however we have been told we could take delivery of some dresses within the next few weeks…watch this space!

Here is the selection of Bridal Gowns we have ordered. We have tried to vary styles to create a nice cross section for our Brides.

Sophia Tolli will become our forth designer at Satin and Lace and we are very excited to have her dresses in our Boutique.

We were very pleased and impressed to read that Sophia Tolli was awarded the “ 2010, Bridal Buyer Best Dress of the Year Award. They received 32% of the votes from 25,000 brides to be. A fantastic achievement considering Sophia Tolli had only been trading for 3 years in the UK.

Sophia is an accomplished designer who has led the way in style and design over the last decade. We’re extremely proud to be associated with such a designer and we’re looking forward to the future.

What a Sale Weekend!!!

12 New Satin and Lace Brides! Our thanks to Nicola, Gemma, Remy, Lisa, Kelly, Claire, Jayne, Joe, Kimberley, Libbie and Nicole for becoming our latest “Satin and Lace Brides” – choosing your gorgeous wedding gowns over the weekend and therefore making last weekend one of our busiest in Twenty Five Years!! For obvious reason we are not at liberty to show our Beautiful Brides to Be in their new gowns before their Big Day, but have been promised stunning photography as soon as it arrives – we can’t wait and looking forward to seeing more of your girls over the next few months!

As I’ve already mentioned our Sample Sale Weekend last weekend proved to be a great success. Many Thanks to everyone who came along and also a very big thank you to all my hard working staff – Lorraine, Victoria, Emily and Laurie. You girlies were great and a real help, staying with me until we finally closed our doors late on each day. All exhausted but still smiling after a super day with all you New Brides.

Due to such a demand and a great response with the sale, I have decided to leave many of the sale items on the ground floor of our boutique and extend the sale for the rest of this week for the remaining Brides to Be who couldn’t make last weekend. I always advise to book an appointment. We have decided to photograph and place any remaining sale dresses on our sale items page on our website, so watch this space!

Satin & Lace Autumn Sample Sale

23rd – 26th September 2011

We have recently attended the British Bridal Exhibition in Harrogate, where we have chosen our new 2012 collections for our boutique in Newbury. Due to the fact that we have more stunning gowns arriving week after week we have decided to hold a ‘Sample Dress Sale’ between the 23^rd – 26^th September. The sale will run for 4 days only! We will be placing over 50 dresses in the sale along with Bridal Accessories such as Shoes, Tiaras and Veils. Bridesmaids dresses and Prom Dresses are among the vast range on offer. We aim to free up some space in our Boutique and show our new collections off in its full beauty. A few new sale dresses are shown below: -

The Bridal Gowns being placed in the sale are from leading designers Maggie Sottero, Sottero & Midgley, Alfred Angelo, Stevie Gowns and Posh Frocks. With up to 65% off these dresses, we feel there will be a bargain for all Brides. Our dresses consist of a variety of sizes and styles to suit everyone. NEW Satin and Lace Website Launched!!!

Good Morning,

I am proud to announce this Monday morning that the NEW Satin and Lace website has now been launched.

We have been hard at work on the site and have made great improvements to the pages, whilst adding new pages throughout the site. Our Bridal Gowns section now lists all gowns that we currently have in store with information on each dress. Our full range of Bridesmaids outfits are now shown on the site and we’ve added all our our Bridal Accessories to complete the re-vamp.
